QA TEST ENGINEER

What will I be doing?

• Maintain and support test automation platforms to ensure OWASP, WCAG 2.1, Mobility and Performance standards met
• Write and execute manual test scenarios from Agile story acceptance criteria and Waterfall Specification to ensure application quality
• Write and execute automation testing scripts for automated regression testing
• Achieve accreditation in quality analysis for web application
• Research and document innovative methods for testing CMS driven web applications such as Drupal, Kentico, Sitefinity, Sitecore and train junior team members in the use of such methods

You will:

• Evaluate test results and accurately record defects using Jira & Zephyr
• Test mobile/web apps using Google AVD, Xcode Device Profiles, OWASP ZAP Security Scans.
• Test mobile/web apps for validation errors, SEO errors, real-world latency optimization errors, “China Banned Word” errors,
• Write/run Selenium scripts to test multiple device/browser combinations accurately.
• Write/run Jmeter scripts to performance test platforms & applications
• Review testing from junior members of team and manage improvement
• Other activities as instructed by management

What will I need?

Must have:

• Professional business English
• Degrees in IT / computer sciences or equivalent
• Experience in testing services (Browserstack, Crossbrowsertesting, Blazemeter)
• Experience with testing systems (Zephyr, Selenium, SonarQube, Jmeter)
• Detailed and meticulous attention to detail with the abilities to work independently and able cope with pressure
• Must be adaptable, self-motivated, solution oriented and eager to learn new technology

Nice to have:

• Any CMS knowledge
• Knowledge about CI (Jenkins)
• Any QA certification is a big plus
